Supply Chain & Procurement Business Intelligence
I turn complex supply chain and procurement data into decisions. 15+ years across procurement, supply chain, and business intelligence — helping teams protect margins, reduce risk, and find cost opportunities.
About
Before I designed dashboards, I managed a $350M steel sourcing portfolio at Johnson Controls and ran category management at ABB. I've sat across the table from suppliers, negotiated a $150M steel contract, designed market index pricing models, and used ABC/XYZ analytics to structure supplier-owned inventory deals. Over my career I've averaged 15% cost reductions through sourcing strategies.
I transitioned into analytics to build the tools I wished I had as a procurement professional. Spending years developing spend analytics for Fortune 200 companies — building PPV analytics to protect margin, Bill of Material cost breakdowns, and scenario models that helped teams make faster, better decisions. Now I bring that same thinking directly to you.
The gap
Most supply chain and procurement teams already have plenty of data. The challenge is turning it into timely, actionable insights. Off-the-shelf tools rarely reflect your processes, systems, or priorities. I build analytics that do
Off-the-shelf platforms treat supply chain as a single function. But sourcing, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory each ask different questions and track different metrics. A generic dashboard ends up serving no one well — impressive to look at, but it doesn’t answer what your team actually needs to know.
Your data lives across ERPs, exports, and spreadsheets, with its own naming, quirks, and gaps. Templated SaaS analytics assume clean, uniform data that rarely exists — so they break down at the last mile, right where your data meets a real decision. You end up bending your process to the tool instead of the other way around.
Services
Three ways I help supply chain and procurement teams get more from their data.
You have dashboards, but are they actually driving decisions? I evaluate your existing BI for gaps, clutter, and missed opportunities — and deliver a clear picture of what's working, what's not, and what to do next.
Custom Power BI dashboards designed around your core supply chain and procurement questions — spend visibility, supplier performance, purchase price variance, and cost reduction insights. Designed for the people who actually use them.
Complex, customized analytical tools designed for your specific problem — what-if scenario modeling, Bill of Materials cost breakdowns, should-cost modeling, and tariff impact analysis. So your team can stop guessing and start deciding.
Approach
Every engagement starts with understanding what decision you're trying to make, not what data you have. We define the specific challenge — protecting margins, reducing risk, finding savings — before touching a single dataset.
I work with your existing data sources and systems to understand what's available and what's needed. No unnecessary complexity — the right data for the right question.
Dashboards and tools are designed with the people who will use them in mind. Clear, intuitive, and actionable — not just technically correct but actually useful in the flow of daily work.
I don't just hand over a file. I make sure your team understands how to use it, can answer new questions, and is set up to maintain it independently if needed.

Your dashboards may answer what happened—but do they help ensure the right quality, quantity, place, time, and price? See how analytics should support every procurement decision.
Your savings report shows the price you negotiated—but does it show the quality and delivery costs that followed—the rework, the expedites, the safety stock? See how analytics can make all three visible.
